Chrissie Everard

Expressive and Abstract Artist

I love to paint.

I was brought up on the north-west coast of Lancashire with it's wide sandy beaches, tidal pools and big skies. The brooding Pennines of my ancestors lurked in the easterly distance and the Lake District began just up the road. I've spent much of my life enjoying the elements in all weathers for sport or relaxation. My more recent years have been lived in the Midlands and latterly Norfolk where I have my studio.

I've studied with a select range of Contemporary British artists

including Michael Porter, RWA and Caroline Hulse, FRSA and Lewis Noble whose techniques and approaches to their own work influenced my direction as an abstract and expressive creator. I've learnt materials, techniques, independence of idea, experimental approach and I've put in the hours of practice. I paint in a variety of media.Over the years I've been selected to exhibit at some significant galleries and public spaces, and been elected as a member of several Art Societies.
