Coronavirus Cancellations

Due to the Coronavirus my exhibitions for this summer have been postponed but I continue to paint. I post some work up on Instagram and Leicester Society of Artists are running a monthly exhibition of Members work on their website.
Meanwhile the isolation is allowing me free reign and without the preparation for exhibitions I am focused on painting. I'm in my studio everyday, Radio 6 Music playing loudly and keeping the energy flowing. I paint large and I paint small and try new things and relax with the familiar.
And I/we wait to be allowed out into the world again.

Home Studio

I'm hoping to Open my Home Studio more often over the coming weeks. I have a lot of new work to show.

April cancelled

I've taken the decision to cancel my exhibition space booked at Brancaster Staithe in April. Things are so uncertain at the moment. I hope the August booking will go ahead as planned. Fingers crossed.

NNOS 2020 Open Studios 23rd May - 7th June
And in addition a group of us local artist are getting together to create an
Art Trail within the event. Full details to follow but will include Wells to Brancaster along the coast here and include me in North Creake and some artists in Holkham Hall. Nice little circuit.

Holkham Woods

I've had some lovely walks through Holkham Woods through the Winter and its inspired me to paint something of those impressions. I'll put these in for the Brancaster Staithe village hall exhibition in April 20th - 26th. IMG_E2810
